On my way down from the Roaches after sunrise I stopped to admire this wonderful scene unfold revealing the small village of Blackshaw Moor on the edge of the Peak District Staffordshire Moorlands.
Looking North to the highest point on Ramshaw Rocks with the sun rising to the right casting light and shadows over a snow covered scene.
High Weeldon is a great vantage point in the Peak District, this was taken prior to sunrise looking down the Dove Valley with the morning mist clinging to the River Dove.
On the left you can see the rocky feature of Peaseland Rocks as the River Dove flows through Wolfscote Dale. The high ground in the distance in the sun is Drabber Tor.
