High Weeldon is a great vantage point in the Peak District, this was taken prior to sunrise looking down the Dove Valley with the morning mist clinging to the River Dove.
On my way down from the Roaches after sunrise I stopped to admire this wonderful scene unfold revealing the small village of Blackshaw Moor on the edge of the Peak District Staffordshire Moorlands.
A fine morning on top of the Roaches in Staffordshire. Lucky enough to watch a cloud inversion down below, as the sun rises and pushes the clouds up the side of the gritstone and the sun cast some great light in the foreground....
Looking along the lush green Manifold Valley in Staffordshire towards Thors Cave. I was particular lucky this morning as the valley was engulfed in mist, making the view even more spectacular.
