Looking along the lush green Manifold Valley in Staffordshire towards Thors Cave. I was particular lucky this morning as the valley was engulfed in mist, making the view even more spectacular.

On my way down from the Roaches after sunrise I stopped to admire this wonderful scene unfold revealing the small village of Blackshaw Moor on the edge of the Peak District Staffordshire Moorlands.

After an hours wait the mist from Beeley eventually arrived and slips up the side of Baslow Edge slithering though a cut in the hillside.

The gritstone on the summit of Shutlingsloe is glowing lovely in the morning sun, the ground beneath it frozen hard.
