A very different location from any in the Peaks because of its varied scattered rock formations and trees. I was lucky enough to get this sheep pose long enough in this panoramic shot

On my way down from the Roaches after sunrise I stopped to admire this wonderful scene unfold revealing the small village of Blackshaw Moor on the edge of the Peak District Staffordshire Moorlands.
Looking along the lush green Manifold Valley in Staffordshire towards Thors Cave. I was particular lucky this morning as the valley was engulfed in mist, making the view even more spectacular.
On the left you can see the rocky feature of Peaseland Rocks as the River Dove flows through Wolfscote Dale. The high ground in the distance in the sun is Drabber Tor.
Before sunrise, lights still on in the buildings and the fog lingering in the low ground which follows the river dove snaking though the valley.
