A scene from close to home for me, out on an early morning walk at sunrise in Staffordshire. This stunning tree caught my eye half frozen and half alive the sun lighting up the half dead part.

Manifold Valley at sunset in the Staffordshire Peak District overlooking Thors Cave
On the left you can see the rocky feature of Peaseland Rocks as the River Dove flows through Wolfscote Dale. The high ground in the distance in the sun is Drabber Tor.
St Bartholomew Church spire rises though the morning mist in Butterton in the Peak District
On my way down from the Roaches after sunrise I stopped to admire this wonderful scene unfold revealing the small village of Blackshaw Moor on the edge of the Peak District Staffordshire Moorlands.
