Taken from Roach End in Staffordshire, admiring the view out over towards Cheshire with Back Forest below.

Looking along the lush green Manifold Valley in Staffordshire towards Thors Cave. I was particular lucky this morning as the valley was engulfed in mist, making the view even more spectacular.

Before sunrise, lights still on in the buildings and the fog lingering in the low ground which follows the river dove snaking though the valley.

A glorious sunrise from Shutlingsloe in Cheshire. The ground frozen hard looking onto the Roaches in the far distance.
